Yesterday the girls at Good Results PR hosted their press day in the penthouse in the Sanderson Hotel...which is very fancy. I went along to preview some of the A/W collections from a few of their fashion brands, and also took advantage of the flying saucers they had kindly provided for guests. Nothing like a bit of nostalgia.
The brands I was most attracted to were ELEVEN PARIS (who's Spring/Summer campaign I featured HERE), TWIST & TANGO (a new Swedish womenswear brand) and BECKSONDERGAARD (a Scandinavian accessories brand). First up is the menswear range from Eleven Paris. The collection for next season is very knitwear-focused, with lots of scope for layering options. Fairisle knits layered with plaid shirts provide an electic look for winter, and worn with burnt red chinos will nod to Scandinavian style rather than the brand's French roots. For me though, the outerwear was the strongest category, with some nice wool blazers and coats, and an amazing leather and shearling biker jacket.
You may notice pictured throughout is Amy from Good Results who was kindly helping me photograph these pieces...check out her pastel nails (OMG so on trend!!1).
The brand have colloborated with several illustrators to create a range of graphic tees.
The womenswear collection from Eleven Paris was also very impressive. The vibe here was rock and roll with a luxe finish, not unlike fellow French brand Zadig & Voltaire. There were angora knits with nice leather detailing, biker jackets and sequin embellishment. Again, the outerwear was the most impressive, but tops and leggings were also interesting...in a good way.
Amazing printed two-piece.
I also had a little look at the Zhandra Rhodes collection, as it's a bit of fun. Dress coats and peplum dresses come in super-bright pinks and purples and geometric prints. There are also matching accessories, including the hair-bow featured below.
There were also nice accessories from Becksondergaard, who provided a rainbow of scarves, and leather bags and purses in every colour available.
Finally was the womenswear collection from new Swedish brand Twist & Tango. I keep wanting to call it Twist and Shout, but that would be silly. The collection was as you would expect from a Swedish label - clean lines and nice detailing, but with some interesting key pieces and a variety of fabrications. The lurex tank top and grey crombie coat are particularly nice.
Nice photos!!! That red twist and tango leather jacket is amazing! And I love the first shirt too!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE all of these brands!
