Event: TOMS Give Shop
Pin It
Those goody-two-shoes at TOMS are
well-known for their charitable endeavours, including the pioneering
'one-for-one' scheme which gifts a pair of shoes for every pair purchased to
children in need. This Christmas the brand has gone one further and is
launching the TOMS Give Shop - a pop-up space in London's Brick Lane that aims
to spread their core message of giving. Guests will be taken on a journey
through five interactive areas that are designed with this message in mind.

Lookbook: Saint Laurent Paris 'Skinny'
It seems that Hedi Slimane's debut at the newly rebranded Saint Laurent
Paris wasn't the resounding success that everyone expected, with a
slight media backlash at his expense regarding certain similarities to
his work at Dior Homme. Putting that to one side, his diffusion line
'Skinny' is a more casual affair with monochrome leopard prints and
denim complimenting the harder leather pieces.

Outfit: Black-on-Black in Staten Island
Pin It
Here be my first proper outfit post on this blog and whilst I hadn't intended to ever get involved with these, let's just say I was inspired by being in New York and such amazing surroundings. The 9/11 memorial on Staten Island is the location here, and the great weather helped with the view of southern Manhattan. Although it did result in much squinting. Please take me back here!

New York in Pictures
Pin It
So I will admit it, I've been a bit absent on here recently. But I
assure you I do have a good excuse - I have been in New York City with
my family. Here is a little snapshot of what I got up to! I well and truly fell in love with the city (original I know) and am adamant I will live here at some point. Call me?
Pieces in the modern art wing of the Met museum.
A hyper-real painting, believe it or not.
Ballers ballin' in Brooklyn.
Stylish couple in SoHo.
Coney Island boardwalk.
No words needed here.
Art gallery owner playing her own piano in Chelsea.
Quite enjoyed this girl's outfit on the Highline.
A chocolate Brooklyn Bridge.
River Cafe in Brooklyn Heights. Best restaurant ever.
